Jupiter Police Foundation is proud to announce its first virtual fundraiser event, Back the Badge on Friday, March 26th at 7:00pm on Facebook. The Foundation will continue its fun-filled event spirit that the nonprofit is known for, however this time participants can enjoy from the comfort of their home for free.  "Our foundation’s primary objective is to raise money for the Jupiter Police Department, but also keeping our supporters safe and healthy is still of vital importance" said Carolyn King, President of the Jupiter Police Foundation. "We invite the community to join us as we share in celebrating the dedication and commitment of our Jupiter men and woman in blue."

This virtual event will be star studded, packed with celebrity entertainment from Grammy and Golden Globe nominated artist, Frank Stallone, Freestyle and Pop vocalist Brenda K. Starr best known for her 80's hit "I believe" and Austin Giorgio from the popular NBC show The Voice. Also, for the first time, the public will officially get to meet and hear from David E. England the new Chief of Police for the Jupiter Police Department.

The money raised from the donations and online auction of this event online go directly to support the Jupiter Police Department. The foundation has used similar funds to purchase six drones and are in the process of helping secure a remotely operated submersible vehicle for underwater investigations and recoveries. This will help the police department protect the community and the police officers themselves. The funds raised at Back the Badge will also support the Jupiter Police Department community events.

This sixty minute special will be chaired by Lauren Lomangino and emceed by Felicia Rodriguez from WPBF News and Emily Pantelides from Pantelides PR & Consulting. The event starts promptly at 7pm online but be sure to check out and bid on all the auction items starting March 12th.
